Less Than 5 Runs, We Lose
The Red Sox cannot win a low scoring game. Evidence last night's 5-3 loss. This is just another example of why New York, Tampa & Baltimore are ahead in the standings. They can all win the tight games. We can't. Aaron Cook has 3 or 4 good innings, then gets lit up for a crooked number. Given his record of more losses than wins, perhaps he would be a better long man out of the pen. My family is going to Fenway on Sunday & Cook is the probable starter unless something changes. I hope he fares better against the Royals. It was nice to see Salty connect for an HR, his 1st one in almost a month. Overall, the offense needs to make better use of its limited opportunities. David Ortiz, where are you? It's a different lineup with Big Papi in it.
