Bobby Gets Vote of Confidence

John Henry e-mailed media outlets to clear the air about Bobby V. Ben Cherington was repeatedly asked about Bobby & his expected firing, to which Ben also backed up his manager. And Bobby said if the team record was better, no one would need to back him, but he appreciated it. You can develop your own thoughts & opinions about the length of stay that Bobby V will have at the helm of the Red Sox. I agree with one of Henry's statements. The manager gets more credit or more blame in these instances. How about the players taking a major piece of humble pie for underperforming for 4 months? I don't think Bobby survives this year, but who else is out there & who else would come to a team where you have no power?
