Youk's Back!

Kevin Youkilis makes his first return to Boston as a member of the Chicago White Sox. Since his trade Youk has been as hot as any player in the bigs, helping the White Sox to remain in 1st place in the AL Central. I struggled with the Red Sox decision to trade him, but I believe it was the right thing to do. It was time to let him go to a team where he would be the everyday third-baseman. Even though Middlebrooks got injured & was out for a week, Will is back now & still producing on offense. Youk was not ready to be a spare part. The rumors of bad karma surrounding Youk & having that infect the clubhouse is out there. Perhaps Youk was the player that outed the pitchers on chicken & beer last year. Too much baggage in Boston. The trade to Chicago allows Youk to continue his career past the end of this season. He worked very hard as a player of 2 World Series champion teams in Boston & he should get a standing "O" from the crowd tonight.
