Sox Start 2nd Half With 3-1 Win

The never-ending lineup shuffle for Bobby V. continued in game 87 last night. I think Bobby deserves credit for finding a lineup that can produce enough to win every other game. No Dustin Pedroia. No Adrian Gonzalez. Insert Jacoby Ellsbury. Insert the hot Pedro Ciriaco. Add a good pitching performance by Frank Morales & the Red Sox bullpen. Add a Big Papi HR in the 1st to set the tone. Throw in a dumb baserunning play by Ben Zobriest in the 8th. It all adds up to a 3-1 win in Tampa. The Sox can move up to 3rd in the standings with another win tonight. A Red Sox lineup last night that can win with Mauro Gomes & Ciriaco on the right side of the infield, Punto at 3rd later in the game for Middlebrooks, & Nava starting the game in LF is quite a fete!
