Red Sox 8, Yankees 6

Even though it's a little late, who doesn't enjoy a Red Sox win over the Yankees? Jon Lester gave up 4 runs over 6 innings - an OK outing, but light years better than his 11 runs in 2 innings. Gonzo, Ciriaco & the offense supported his effort on the offensive side of the ball. Curtis Granderson looked like a Little Leaguer circling the wagons on Ciriaco's misplayed flyball that put the Sox ahead in the 8th. It was a much-needed win to say the least. I'm not reading more into it than 1 win, even though certain faithful members of Red Sox Nation say this is the turnaround. Hard to get excited about a team under .500 that has gone 2-6 in the last 3 series.
