Anyone Watching the All-Star Game?

Is the all-star game a thing of the past? It's basically a money maker for the players who have bonuses written into their contracts if they make the all-star team. Starters are out of the game by the 4th or 5th inning & on their way home before the game is done. Home field advantage during the World Series is only important to contending teams now & those teams may not be contenders in September. The Home Run Derby is usually the more entertaining night. But how many times can you listen to Chris Berman say back-back-back! Here's 3 days to catch up on your DVR'd shows or to rent a movie you missed at the theatre. The thrill of the all-star break is gone for me.
