Adrian, Cook Big in 5-1 Win
The Red Sox got another good start from Aaron Cook, the 4th in a row by the maligned Boston rotation. Cook went 7 giving up 1 unearned run. Adrian Gonzalez supplied the offense with 4 RBI, one swing bringing in 3 big ones in the 8th with a homer over the monster. And the Sox win 5-1 despite 3 hits from Kevin Youkilis in his return as a member of the White Sox. In his return to the Boston Lineup Carl Crawford had an excuse-me hit, a walk & 2 runs scored. David Ortiz suffered an achilles pull rounding 2nd base which will keep him out of the lineup for a few days. Hopefully, he & Pedroia will both be ready to go on Thursday when the entire starting lineup could be on the field for the 1st time in many months. Maybe things are getting brighter!
