Sox Drop 2nd Series in a Row
First Baltimore. Now the Washington Nationals. The combination of Strasburg - Harper in Game 1 led to a 7-4 Red Sox loss & Gio Gonzalez pitched the Nats to a 4-2 victory yesterday, spoiling the return of Dice-K. The Sox are back to 1 game under .500, but still not so far out of the AL East race that a good week or 10 days couldn't propel them into first. Look at the Yankees who went from 4th to 1st with a 7-3 record in their last 10 games. It's frustrating for me & obviously our blog viewers are frustrated as they visited the blog sparing this past week. With the Celtics out maybe folks will now focus more on the Sox - for better or worse. They need a good 10 game stretch.
