Sox Close Out May 15-14

A sweep is a tough fete to accomplish against any team & the Sox will take winning 3 out of 4 anytime. Sox lose the finale 6-3 to the Tigers before moving onto Toronto for a weekend series against the Jays. This was one of those nights when the offense was sluggish, Josh Beckett was just OK & the bullpen didn't get the job done. It happens, but 3 for 4 is a step in the right direction. Keep winning series is the key. And the next 2 series are against AL East opponents in Toronto & at home against the O's. The Sox are winning a lot more than they are losing over the past 2-3 weeks. We need that trend to continue to have a June that ends 5 or 6 games over .500.
