Sox Lose, Anderson Sent Down, Youk Still Out
Lots of questions surfaced before & after the Red Sox loss to the A's 5-3 last night. Kevin Youkilis was not in the lineup for the 3rd straight game with muscle spasms in his back. Jose Iglesias was brought up to the big club to shore up the infield. No word was given on the status of Aaron Cook. And Lars Anderson was optioned back to Pawtucket after the game. Lots of moving parts on this team roster. Despite the changing of the guard, the Sox can win their 3rd series in a row by having Daniel Bard (another conversial piece of the roster) mow down the A's tonight. I think you see Aviles at 3rd & Iglesias at short to see how that works. Nick Punto has not contributed offensively in Youk's position & Iglesias brings more range to short.
