Mike Aviles, I Was Wrong
I didn't like the trade that brought Mike Aviles to the Red Sox. I didn't like the trade of Marco Scutaro even more. I didn't like the idea of Mike Aviles as the everyday shortstop in 2012. I didn't like what I saw of Aviles in Spring Training. I was not a fan of Mike Aviles. But Aviles has quietly put all the doubters like me to shame with his bat & glove thus far. I admit my mistakes & Mike Aviles was one of them. Sorry, Mike!

You are a bigger man than I. I have been saying all along that Beckett should go. Given his past 2 outings, I have not changed my mind. With him, it is not a talent issue, it is a character issue. Don't get me wrong, I am always happy when he performs well. I just think that he is a cancer in the clubhouse, and will do more harm than good to our young players.
