Carl Beane Dead At 59

Carl Beane was born the same year as me. Makes you wonder about the whole mortality thing. Carl had his dream job for 10 years as the PA announcer at Fenway Park. He loved the Red Sox & it showed in his booming voice. I saw one old interview clip today where Carl would pause his voice between Derek & Jeter so that Red Sox fans could boo Jeter twice. Gotta' love that. Carl will be missed.
