Felix Doubront pitched another good game. Ryan Sweeney & Salty paced the offense with multiple hits. And a fortuitous umpire's call helped the Sox to a 7-4 victory. It was disappointing to see Aceves give up 2 runs on a homer in the 9th - same as against the Rays on Sunday. Maybe he needs a day or two off. But we'll take the win, especially since Verlander goes for the Tigers today against the walk machine known as Daniel Bard. It would be a nice step forward for Bard to embrace the competition with Verlander & come up with a big game.
