Isn't it fun to beat the Yankees? So what if it's in Spring Training.
My choice for the Red Sox 5th starter, Felix Doubront, pitched 4 strong innings against the boys in pinstripes yesterday. I saw him pitch last year & I think it would be great to have a 2nd lefty in the rotation, especially against the Yankees & Rays lineups. Maybe Felix has learned that you don't come into camp overweight which led to injuries last year.
In my perfect world I'd like to see Doubront take the 5th spot in the rotation & put Aceves back in the pen to start the season. Aceves, Melancon & Bailey would be a nice 7th, 8th, 9th combo.
