OK, here's my last article on a meaningless pre-season game against the Yankees last night. Check the other 2 if you want to start stirring the pot for the regular season.
Dustin Pedroia gets hit with a fastball above the wrist by a weirdly named Yankee minor leaguer who had no control for most of his outing. It was not intentional, but it shouldn't have gone unnoticed. Luckily, it was just a bruise that will be sore for awhile.
While a Yankee batter was hit later in the game, I would have plugged Curtis Granderson right in the butt the next inning. You hit one of our starters & key players, we hit one of yours of equal caliber.
It's never too early to start protecting your key guys.
