First Game

It's the smell of hot dogs, sausage & popcorn.

It's visiting the gift store.

It's the college girls across the way drinking beer & texting throughout the game.

It's the national anthem.

It's a good catch &/or a bad miss of a foul ball in the stands.

It's the little guys with their mom & dad asking for ice cream every inning.

It's the elderly couple slowly walking out of the stadium with their matching team shirts.

That was the experience with my first Cactus League game yesterday where the home team Cleveland Indians beat the visiting KC Royals 3-2 on a Shelley Duncan 3-run homer.

You always remember your first game every year.
