Rightfully so, Bobby V. was looking forward to seeing Clayton Mortenson pitched the 10th inning for the Sox in a 4-4 tie with the Yankees.
As the Red Sox pitcher came out for the 10th, the umpires informed Bobby V. that the game was over. The Yankees had no pitchers left. (See my previous article about Blockhead Girardi.)
Bobby's beef was that no one informed him that the 10th would not take place. His guy Mortenson had to warm up for nothing & he didn't get a chance to see a kid trying to make the big club.
