Andy Pettitte Is Back

Out of the wild blue yonder comes Andy Pettitte for a comeback with the Yankees at age 40. He signed a $2.5 million minor league contract.

Pettitte would be in the same category as Tim Wakefield when it comes to pitching in your 40's. His best days are behind him, but he gets another payday for a pitching strapped team like the Yankees.

What does that say about the confidence in the Yankees rotation of CC, Kuroda, Pineda, Garcia & others? Not much I guess.
