Pitchers have reported to Spring Training & started workouts this week. No sign of free agents Roy Oswalt & Edwin Jackson, though.
Oswalt met with the Rangers, but he may be too expensive for Texas after they signed a big check to get Yu Darvish. The Sox don't seem to enough cash to interest the lifetime NL pitcher.
Edwin Jackson is an intriguing guy. He pitched in the AL East for the Rays in the past, but he too may be too expensive for teams at this point.
It's a poker game. With pitchers now in camp I look for Oswadt & Jackson to lower their asking price & blink first.
