OK, now it's official that Bobby Valentine will become the 45th manager of the Boston Red Sox today. A press conference is scheduled for 5:30 EST. Good luck, Bobby! I hope you keep the clubhouse together & move these prima dona athletes in the same direction with the common goal of striving to win.
And speaking about players, a few of them have been texting each other that they are not thrilled about having a new task master like Bobby V. Probably the beer, chicken & biscuits crowd. My response & all of Red Sox Nation say to you "tough s---." Sometimes you get what you deserve. Don't expect anyone to feel sorry for you as the country club atmosphere goes away. Come back down to earth, suck it up & work hard for a living like everyone else.
