Bobby V. Gets Interviewed Today

The unique Bobby Valentine gets interviewed by the Sox management today. The lamboyant, ego-centrist coach may end up with the manager's position due to a small field of other unimpressive candidates. Why else would the Sox bring him in for a talk?

The Boston media would love a guy like Bobby V. It would be like Ozzie in Chicago. As Michael Felger said last night, a media event would turn away from questions about players & be about Bobby & his ego. He might be entertaining.

No matter who the Sox bring in as manager, the 2012 team has enough returning talent to make the playoffs. They just need to hire someone to keep all 25 guys headed in the right direction.

this is Larry's guy. He is the one pulling the strings, which is why Theo left......twice! Cherrington has no clout, so Lucchino is forcing his will. Valentine will certainly keep players in line, but don't look for too many high profile guys to want to come here and play for him.
