The World Series is almost over. Free agency is about to begin. The 2 biggest names out there are Albert Pujols & Prince Fielder. Which teams will make offers on these two guys?
Not the Red Sox or Yankees. Teixeira & Gonzalez are firmly entrenched for years as first-basemen for these 2 clubs.
Which other teams would spend the big cash? Maybe Theo & the Cubs. Maybe St. Louis will try to keep Pujols. Milwaukee doesn't have the money to keep Fielder, but they might pony up after this year's playoff run.
Other possibilities might be LA Angels, Chicago White Sox if they move Konerko to full-time DH, NY Mets, Atlanta Braves.
There may not be that big a market with the Red Sox & Yankees out of it. It's very possible that both guys will stay put.

If it looks like either or both will stay put, look for Theo to get involved if only to drive the cost up.
