The Motor City boys came through for all of Red Sox Nation. They get a big "thank you" & we wish them good luck in the ALCS.
While the beer-drinking Red Sox hit skid row in September, the New York Yankees with the 2nd best record go down in flames in the ALDS this October, not even reaching the Championship Series this year. Jeter played a little older. A-Rod did his disappearing act once again. Teixeira was cold. And even CC was not as overpowering as he was in the past. Joe Girardi is catching hell for his use of pitchers.
All is right with the world!
