How about a right-hand hitting DH & a right-hand hitting right fielder? That would even out a very left-handed lineup from 2011. Not that scoring runs was a problem in general last year, but they came in bunches which really skewed the numbers.
Who's out there? How about Cory Hart from Milwaukee? How about the guy from Houston that signed mid-season with the Phillies? If Big Papi doesn't re-sign, we have Ryan Lavarnway in waiting or perhaps a rotating spot at DH. If he does resign, maybe Big Papi is platooned & hits against right-handed pitching only.
It would be nice to see a more balanced line-up in 2012.
