Theo & Tito Meet the Press

A day after "the collapse" both Theo & Tito gave a little insight as to how the Red Sox would move forward into the future. Neither one shirked the question that the final, disappointing result was of their own making.

Theo summaried the off-season process as a complete review from top to bottom of all aspects of Red Sox operations, including how they view & value free agent signings - a sore spot on Theo's resume. He also said a review of their health program would be part of the process as injuries to key players have occurred frequently over the past 2 years.

Terry Francona thought that the Red Sox players could have come together better over problems faced by individual players - perhaps suggesting there were cliques or factions within the team. Again, it's the manager's job to keep everyone going in the same direction.

Theo said that the organization's review will include self-assessments to see if he & Tito are the guys who can bring the team forward for the future. I believe he said "a look in the mirror" will be required.

Expect changes & plenty of them.
