The Ship Is Taking On Water

The Red Sox ship is adrift at sea & taking on water. It's starting to sink like their lead in the AL Wild Card.

John Lackey continues to give up big hits. If not for a smoked ball striking him in the leg, Lackey would have given up 2 more runs with the bases loaded before exiting last night's game.

The offense has struggled all year against no-name pitchers. Wade Davis, a guy with an ERA of 8.00 against the Sox in the past, pitches a complete game & wins 7-2. Bring on Shields & Price as we have done better against the better pitchers in the league. We can't do any worse.

Injuries continue to mount with Youk & Bedard back in Boston to be re-evaluated. Pedroia is in a terrible drought at the plate. And the list goes on.

Things are rough right now for all of Red Sox Nation.
