Us NH people had a very nice remembrance for Mike Flanagan today. His parents, brother & sister were there. Surprisingly, Peter Gammons was there. A few NH political figures were there as well. Many friends & teammates I knew were there. I think I saw a girl I dated in high school 40 years ago there.
The Flanagans were most generous in their comments to the swams of people flooding the Memorial High School auditorium. Mike's parents are in their 80's, but they seemed to be holding up pretty well. His brother Tim & sisters Kathy & Elaine were very gratious as well.
Mike touched a lot of people in a positive way, including me. Life will go on, just a little less bright without Mike in it.
