The Red Sox are doing what they are suppose to - beat the low-flying Astros. Last night it was Andrew Miller who kept the Astros offense in check while Navarro & McDonald were adding late inning homers for the Sox to seal the win. Nice to see new contributors to the offense.
Miller is becoming a dependable 5 & 6 inning guy. He hasn't pitched against the toughest of lineups yet, but he will get a chance against the AL East this coming week. Miller & Wakefield have filled-in very nicely for Dice-K & Buchholz. Both will get at least one more turn before the All-Star break.
Speaking of Buchholz, let's hope his back is ready to go after his new return date of after the All-Star game. We will need Buck for the stretch run.
