Kevin Gregg - Wrong

Since when did Kevin Gregg become the keeper of the national pastime? He needs to tell us what's acceptable behavior & what isn't? Give me a break! Sox dismantle the O's 10-3 & the O's frustration comes out.

About the only thing that Gregg didn't say about the brawl with Big Papi is the truth. The truth is that he tried to hit Ortiz & missed. Then Gregg had to mouth off after he got an out instead of letting it go.

Gregg - loser. Orioles - losers.

All these Boston reporters are now chirping in about proper etiquette & whether or not Big Papi has a right to enjoy a homer run that happened 7 innings before. Stop! It's not about Ortiz. It's about a bad Orioles team - period.

Let me tell you that a pitcher doesn't like giving up homers to anyone. I gave up a few in my time & I didn't blame the batter for celebrating - unless he pointed at me. The next time at the plate I can tell you that the same batter is getting one high & tight on the first pitch. And that's the end of it. Then you go back to baseball.

Gregg is trying to confuse the issue by saying Ortiz didn't run out his fly ball, the $180 million payroll, etc. The honest explanation is that Gregg threw at Ortiz - simple as that. He was frustrated since the Sox scored 10 runs for the 2nd night in a row. And he's frustrated playing for a bad team.

Be a man, Kevin Gregg. Say the truth instead of making up excuses. Say I was frustrated & felt like hitting someone. That's more believable than not running out a fly ball. I have know respect for someone who has to make up excuses for his behavior.
