White Sox Have Red Sox Number

Did you ever play or coach against one of those teams that you could just never beat? Sure you did.

This year it's Ozzie Guillen & the White sox who the Red Sox can't beat. The Boston Sox have lost something like 9 out of 11 at home to the ChiSox. Last night's 10-7 loss was just the latest casualty. The offense showed signs of life in the final 2 innings, but the rally fell short.

Tim Wakefield tries to prevent a sweep tonight. Even though Aceves got racked last night, he has given the Sox a few wins as a substitute starter. You really can't ask for more from he or Wake.

I hate to say it, but I hope Lackey gets back into the rotation soon. Maybe his "time out" did him well.

I can't bring myself to the EXTREME of wishing Lackey back. I am not ready to throw Aceves under the bus just yet. If this outing turns into multiple bad outings, perhaps then. Until then, Lackey can sit on the pine.
