Yes, John Lackey, it's time for you to earn that big contract. Stop with all the faces when a teammate makes an error or the ump doesn't give you a close call. Stop with the post-game nonsense about how you didn't pitch so bad in every loss.
Time to "MAN UP." Go out & help your team win a game & possibly salvage this series. Throw strikes early & go deep into the later innings. Give Red Sox fans a reason to hope that you & this team can pull out of the current funk.
