Lee Pitches Phils to Win 5-0

Yes, Cliff Lee pitched another complete game. This time it was a 2-hit shutout against the slumping Red Sox.

This may seem like a weird statement, but I would put money on Josh Beckett if these 2 pitchers match up again in the post-season. I say that because of the current circumstances surrounding both teams. The Phillies are on a run like the Red Sox were in May. They may be peaking too soon. The Sox, on the other hand, are going through injuries & a power outage that will straighten itself out after interleague play is over.

Don't bet against Beckett next time.

Lee was great, but when you have a .109 hitter batting 5th in your lineup, you have a problem on your depth chart.
