Fathers & sons & baseball go together. Many of us remember playing catch with our dads. My dad use to throw knuckleballs to me. His wasn't as good as Tim Wakefield's, but it did move & wiggle a little.
For those of us whose dads are no longer with us, we remember the simple things. The fun of a game of catch. Just him being there at our games. Being supportive. Waiting for the team bus to return late at night & giving us a ride home after a tough loss.
I hope everyone enjoys the good memories of their dads. And I hope everyone whose dads are still alive tell them thanks for everything. Happy Father's Day to all!
