Bullpen, Offense Lead to 8-6 Win

Clay Buchholz had a rough outing, giving up 4 cheap runs in the first. His command was never there & it makes me wonder if his back tightness is bothering him more than he is letting on.

5 other pitchers, however, shutdown the A's offense. Big hits late in the game by Carl Crawford & Jarrod Saltalamacchia iced the game for a nice comeback win. This win snaps a 4-game losing streak.

My other thought is the #2 spot with Pedroia. He is struggling mightily at the plate & he may need a trip to the bottom 3rd of the order to straighten things out. Maybe move up Lowrie to the 2 hole & flip-flop spots with Petey for awhile. We'll see what Francona does, maybe nothing as long as they are winning.
