Nice day for the offense stringing together several hits & runs to score 9 times off Minnesota pitchers. Adrian hit the light tower in left for another opposite field home run.
It started out looking like a short day for Dice-K as he gave up 3 runs in the first. the Dice-man settled down, however, & ended up throwing 6 innings while giving up a total of 4 runs. Thanks to Matt Albers & Daniel Bard the damage went no further.
Anytime you get a win with your #5 starter it's a good day. Beckett goes tomorrow night shooting for 3 out of 4 from the Twins. Another win before heading out on the road to Toronto would be great.

we'll take 3 of 4 from anyone right now. I am liking that Ells is starting to hit consistently. He was 3 for 4 yesterday & has a 17game hitting streak.
