What a road trip! 5 out of 6 on the left coast. The Sox red hot pitching continued yesterday & the offense put up 7 runs in another shutout win 7-0. This time it was John Lackey doing the honors, shutting out his old teammates for 8 innings.
Carl Crawford hit his first homer of the season. He may have finally found his offensive sea-legs in a Red Sox uniform. Adrian Gonzalez & Marco Scutaro had nice days at the plate as well.
As cold as an 0-6 & 2-10 start to the season, the Sox are now 8-1 in their last 9 & one game back from .500 at 10-11. What a difference a few weeks make! It's a crazy game.
