Rough Schedule for Sox in April

With Spring Training over but for one game in Houston tomorrow I thought it would be a good time to look into the Sox regular season schedule for April.

It's a tough start to 2011 with 13 of 27 games against AL East foes. The Sox host the Yankees, Rays & Blue Jays while playing at Baltimore.

There are 12 home games & 15 road games, including an early trip to the west coast to play the Angels & A's. Let's not forget that the Sox start the season against the AL Champs in Texas.

Given the caliber of teams & the number of road games, I predict the Sox will go 14-13 in April. I'd rather have them start around .500 & improve as the season goes along. 14-13 would be a big improvement from their horrendous start in 2010.

Hi Don...can't wait for the season to start. We need Beckett & Pas to be huge this year. Without them, it might be a very tough task to make the playoffs. Say hello to everyone for us !!
