John Henry & Revenue Sharing

John Henry got fined $500,000 by MLB for speaking out about the luxury tax & revenue sharing with smaller clubs. According to Henry, the smaller clubs are just pocketing the money.

Here's my question - isn't Henry right? Why would an Oakland, KC or Pittsburgh invest in players when their fan bases are use to perennial losers? Why not just have the owners pocket the money?

I guess the truth hurts. It hurts $500,000 worth.

Thanks, Bud, for sweeping the truth under the rug instead of addressing it. Very presidential of you.

Hal Steinbrenner made similar comments last week. Why didn't he get fined?
