John Farrell has gone to Toronto. Curt Young now replaces Farrell as the Sox new pitching coach in 2011.
Young should be a very good fit. He is use to working with a "young" staff in Oakland for the past several years. (No pun intended.) He will bring a different philosophy & different points of emphasis to each pitcher. Young mentioned that he wants to review the work regime of each pitcher in-between starts & after use in the bullpen.
I like the pick of Curt Young.
