David Ortiz had a big 3-run homer to help the Sox to a 9-5 win at Safeco Field. It marks the 6th season that Ortiz had reached the 30 homer mark.
Not a bad fete for a guy who started off so poorly. You have to wonder what the future holds for Big Papi. It's hard for any team to deal with an aging veteran, let alone someone like Ortiz who is such a big part of Red Sox history in 2004 & 2007.
Should be a very interesting off season.
