Another Poor Start for Lackey

Usually a big time pitcher steps up & delivers in a pressure situation. We have not seen that from John Lackey this entire year. 7 runs in 4+ innings last night lead to a home loss 11-9 against the Jays.

What miniscule hopes of making the playoffs the Red Sox have (had) are even smaller today. Lackey killed a 4-game win streak that had fans, like me, still thinking the impossible was possible.

Lackey is turning into J.D. Drew - lots of money for an average player.
