Sox Fall 7-3, Road Trip Ends 5-5

Could've. Would've. Should've. I think that sums up the 10 game road trip which saw the Sox go 2-2 in New York, 2-1 in Toronto & 1-2 in Texas. If they had not blown back-to-back leads on Thursday & Friday, we would be 3 games out in the Wild Card instead of 5. Delcarmen gets the choke today by giving up a 1st pitch 3-run homer in the 8th. Game over.

Tick. Tick. Tick. The clock is now ticking with 45 or less games left to the season. The Sox now need to make-up a game per week on the Rays as time is starting to become a factor.

Good news. Dustin Pedroia may provide the spark they need offensively & defensively to make a run. With LA, Toronto & Seattle coming to town for a 9-game homestand they need to win every series & go 6-3, if not better. The Sox can no longer tread water. They need to gain ground.

It's getting to crunch time now.
