Well, it's anyone's guess when Dice-K takes the mound. Today we got the good Dice-K as he led the Sox to a 3-2 victory before the All-Star break. The Sox take the series in Toronto 2-1.
Darnell McDonald continued his fantasy 1st half with a 2-run bomb, followed by a solo shot by Big Papi. That was all the runs the Sox would need to pull out a close victory. 51 wins at the break is no small fete.
Many Sox players can use the break to heal up. Beltre was taken out of the game with what everyone hopes is a minor injury. He should get to play in his 1st All-Star game on Tuesday.
Let's enjoy the break & get ready for a rough schedule during the 2nd half of July. 4 at home against the AL West leading Texas Rangers & Cliff Lee. 10 game west coast trip through Oakland, Seattle & Anaheim. Then they finish out July at home against Johnny Damon & the Detroit Tigers.
By the end of July we should see a few familiar faces off of the DL. The more, the merrier. We may see a few new faces via trades as well.

The way the Sox are going, Papi will pull a muscle in his rib cage during the home run Derby. He will be out for about six weeks.
