Kevin Youkilis got the game-winning hit in the 12th to finish a walkoff 8-7 victory. The Texas Rangers intentionally walked Dustin Pedroia to pitch to Youkilis. That move backfired.
Bullpen was excellent tonight. Daniel Bard - 2 scoreless. John Papelbon - 2 scoreless. Hideki Okajima - 1 scoreless. No run production for the Rangers after tying the game in the 7th.
J. D. Drew had a grand slam earlier in the game. Mike Lowell also hit his first HR of the season.
Let's see if a sweep is in order tomorrow night. Texas has lost 6 in a row now.
