April has not been kind to the Red Sox so far. A blowout 7-1 loss today leaves the Sox 4-8 & searching for answers during the early going of the 2010 season.
Enough people have said it. You need pitching, hitting & defense to come together to win. And very few times have all 3 come together so far this year.
John Lackey gets a chance to be the stopper on Patriots Day. It was Lackey who last won for the Sox.
Tito has to let the boys play it out until it all clicks together. Once it does, the Sox need to go on an 8-4 run to get back into the race. Right now only Baltimore has a worse record in the AL East.
The weather was as bad as the Sox played this weekend. It didn't seem to bother Tampa Bay though.
