Ortiz Not Happy With Reporters

David Ortiz is 0-7. We have only played 2 games. According to the Red Sox website, Big Papi couldn't believe he was being asked about a slump after 2 games.

Game 1 against Sabathia I give any lefty a pass. Ellsbury went hitless as well & Drew had one small single.

Game 2 saw Big Papi hit into the shift a few times & fly out. Francona was asked about using Lowell when Marte was brought in to face Ortiz. Tito said it's too early to start tinkering with the lineup.

Jerry Remy mentioned the same thing during Tuesday's broadcast. It's too early to start making moves based upon one or two games.

With a victory tonight the Sox will win their first home series of the year against the Yankees. The big picture emerging from this first series is that the Sox can & will compete with the Yankees this year. And that's without Big Papi getting hot yet.
