What a shame to see any young athlete with major health issues. Ryan Westmoreland, 19, a highly touted pick of the Boston Red Sox, will stop all baseball activities immediately & undergo surgery in Arizona to remove a mass from his brain.
All Sox fans have to be reminded of Jon Lester & his bout with cancer from a few years ago. Let's hope that Ryan is as fortunate as Lester with his health issues & he is also able to resume his career with the Sox in the near future.
