Pet Peeves - Volume 1

As I get older, I find that I'm crankier or that certain things bother me more than before. I attended a Spring Training game & it was televised today. Here's my 1st two pet peeves of the year.

Pet Peeve #1:

There is no need for TV cameramen to be running around the field during the playing of the National Anthem. Do we really need to see a player picking his nose or talking to a teammate. Hey photographers, you won't win an Academy Award for any pictures taken at that time. Stop ruining the moment for people in the stand. Honor America & stand still.

Pet Peeve #2:

Idiot cell phone man #1 starts the procession down in front of home plate to waive at the camera while the game is going on so his "homies" can see him on TV. After the first one starts, the parade never stops. One person after another continues down, talking on the cell phone & waiving like crazy to get their ugly mugs on TV. Just stop it. Please. How about the fans trying to watch the game? I'd love to ban cell phones at games or have designated cell phone areas like designated smoking areas. The designated area would be nowhere near a camera.

I'm sure there will be more irritations as the year goes on. These are just my 1st two. Feel free to share any pet peeves that you have.
