Mike Cameron left workouts early yesterday due to a minor groin injury. He says it's nothing & could play if there was a game today. But the Sox staff had him stop & get treatment.
The Red Sox website also mentioned that Dice-K threw from about 150 feet yesterday. He has been slowly getting back into his pitching routine after a minor back injury.
The Red Sox are always conservative with their players in Fort Myers & rightly so. You don't win anything in March & it's a long, long season. Cameron & Dice-K have a whole month to get ready for the regular season.
Finally, on Wednesday Casey Kelly gets to throw the first pitch of the pre-season. It will be interesting for Red Sox Nation to see their #1 prospect on the mound, even if it is against Boston College.
