4th Outfielder Is Hermidia

Jeremy Hermidia is the Rocco Baldelli this year. He will be the 4th outfielder when Drew, Cameron or Ellsbury need a day off or are unable to play. This will be a change from his everyday starting status with the Marlins.

As a former #1 draft pick, Hermidia never lived up the the hype associated with being a #1 pick. In 4 years with the Marlins he showed good defensive skills & an OK bat. The Sox are hoping a change in scenery will bring out his best this year. He can relax & just be a part in the machine here.

Given the past history of Drew & the age of Cameron, Hermidia could see action every 3rd or 4th day. He may turn out to be an important piece to the puzzle as the year moves on.
